February 2015

SUNDAY 1ST FEBRUARY AT 2.00PM
HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE
As part of our remembrance of Holocaust, Fathers House will be the host to a one woman show written and performed by Susan Stein. Susan, a professional actress from the US, plays the part of a Dutch Jew called “Etty” (Esther Hillesum) who died in Auschwitz. Before she was taken Etty made a diary telling of her experiences which led her to the murder camp. Susan will perform this moving play. There will be a time for questions and a discussion after the play and light refreshments will be served. No charge but an offering will be taken for Susan to help her carry on her work.

SUNDAY 22ND FEBRUARY AT 8.00 - 9.00PM
LLANDUDNO YFC PRAYER MEETING
We can thank God for the re-opening of the Saturday cafe after its January break and for the really enjoyable evening for volunteers a few weeks ago. It is only when everyone gets together for an event like this that we can truly appreciate how big the REVERB family is and how may people are concerned for the youngsters of our town. However, there are still many important issues for which prayer is needed and it would be great to see you on Sunday so we can all have an update on the many areas of this work.
We hope you will be able to join us - all ages welcome!

MONDAY 23RD FEBRUARY 7.30 - 9.30PM
THE MONTHLY MEET (always the 3rd Monday during term times, same time, same place)
The Monthly Meet is a gathering for training and conversation around Youth Ministry driven topics. With comfy couches, hot drinks, toast, flip charts and like minded people; the Monthly Meet continues to be an amazing place to be along friends and get practical encouragement to work better with young people.
As always we will seek to be both Bible centred and very practical.
No cost, no pressure, no name tags - feel free to bob down and join us.
The theme/motif of the night is a mega Q & A session.
We will be sharing our sagest wisdom and helping each other out with finding answers, solutions and strategies for the biggest struggles, issues and questions that faced us in 2014, and looking ahead at what we feel God is showing us will be the focus points for our ministries in 2015.
Please come along, spread the word, try it out and see if this is a small community that could bless you and the young people you work with.
