Join us for a half an hour of prayer for the school, its head teacher, Ian Gerrard, staff, pupils and governing body.
There will be an opportunity to stay for a quarter of an hour afterwards for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat, for those who are able to.
All with a heart to pray for the school are welcome, especially parents of current pupils.

The Prayer Group meets to pray for those in prison, their families, and for those involved in their pastoral care.   We are also involved in the restorative justice programmes run at several prisons that house people from this area, and in caring for ex-offenders as they leave prison.

AN EVENING WITH GARETH DAVIES - SURVIVOR OF THE 'ABERFAN DISASTER'
On 21st October 1968 Gareth was a 5 year old and had just started at Pantglas School, Aberfan.  That day hundreds of tons of coal waste came crashing down.  The effect was terrible, 118 children and 28 adults were killed and a community was ripped apart.  13 years later his dad was killed in a car crash and so began a life of atheism until...
Come and hear Gareth tell his story and share his faith.

Speaker: James Robson, Ministry Director at Keswick Ministries. 
His topics will be ‘Encounters with Jesus’, based on Luke’s Gospel, in the evening sessions and ‘First Things First’, based on Nehemiah, in the morning sessions. Once again, the Welsh session will be on Friday evening and the speaker is Dafydd Job
Note new venue. Since we know that parking can be tricky in the town centre, we have organised a ‘park and ride’ minibus service that will operate between Bible Week’s former venue at The Lighthouse Church, West Shore and Gloddaeth Church for all sessions.
