SUNDAY 8TH - SATURDAY 14TH OCTOBER
PRISON WEEK
This is a national event and given the opening within the last 12 months of HMP Berwyn, Wrexham, the ‘3 prisons in one super prison’ on our doorstep, and the concern/opportunity to bring to local Christians the vision of Christian ministry in this new community, Prisons Week would seem to be an opportunity to take a further step forward.
This initiative has a website on which resources will be available soon.
An excellent newsletter has been produced so please consider sharing this with your congregation/circle. All Churches are invited to observe this week in some way and feed back to Wrexham Prison Fellowship what they do.

Public lecture by Tim Shenton (published a biography of Christmas Evans)

This remarkable one-eyed Welshman came from humble beginnings to exercise powerful preaching ministries throughout Wales, particularly in Anglesey.
Tim Shenton will introduce an honest picture of Christmas Evansnot excusing or overlooking his faults, but demonstrating how this gentle and humble man, who possessed the spirit of prayer to a remarkable degree, was used by God for the extension of his kingdom in Wales.

SATURDAY 28TH OCTOBER
INTERCESSION & SPIRITUAL WARFARE - with International Bible Teacher and Author, KEN HEPWORTH
Following the ascension of Jesus, the disciples were not released to preach the gospel until they were endued with power from on high.  The satanic opposition they met could only be overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Today, the body of Christ needs a fresh outpouring of the Spirit of God, without which we cannot fully proclaim the Kingdom of God.  It is time to retake ground that has been lost to the enemy.  We need a fresh revelation of the Bible and of the times in which we live, if we are to be effective in our intercession and spiritual warfare.
Cost: £20 per person (Students £15).  Includes hot lunch and refreshment breaks.
