The Prayer Group meets to pray for those in prison, their families, and for those involved in their pastoral care.   We are also involved in the restorative justice programmes run at several prisons that house people from this area, and in caring for ex-offenders as they leave prison.

Emyr Mathias, has been led to carry a cross from St David's to the summit of Snowdon during September/October.
Emyr sets out from St David's Cathedral on Tuesday 13th September, working his way north and arriving at Tal-y-llyn on Wednesday 28th September. His itinerary is then as follows:
29th  Tal-y-llyn to Dollgellau 8.4 miles
30th  Dolgellau to Bronaber 10 miles
1st    Bronaber to Blaenau Ffestiniog 11 miles
2nd   Day off
3rd    Blaenau to Penrhyndeudraeth 9 miles
4th    Penrhyndeudraeth to Beddgelert via Porthmadog 10 miles
5th    Beddgelert to Betws Garmon 7.6 miles
6th    Betws Garmon to Llanberis 7.4 miles
7th    Evening of prayer, worship, and stories from the journey. led by James Goodman, and held in St Padarns
         Church, Llanberis at 7.30pm
8th    Llanberis to summit of Snowdon and back 5 miles each way

KESHER COURSE
This course runs weekly for 10 weeks to Friday 2nd December and aims to discover the Jewish Roots of the Christian Faith, learn about Israel, her past present and future and learn some basic Hebrew language.
