ARE YOU A TEACHER, LOOKING FOR GOD'S NEXT STEP FOR YOU?
WHY NOT CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING...
As we seek to build an excellent international Christian school, we invite you to join with us in making a difference in Albania!
Founded in 1993, GDQ International Christian School seeks to provide a Christ-centered, academically enriching, international education for missionary and international children (kindergarten to grade 12, British years 1 - 13). Equally, we desire to play a part in enhancing the educational standard of our host country and furthering the gospel throughout Albania and the Balkans.
GDQ International Christian School is looking for qualified K-12 teachers with a vibrant evangelical faith whose desire is to:
influence the lives of international children
integrate a biblical worldview in their teaching
achieve a high academic standard
work in a multicultural classroom
teach from a multi-national curriculum
collaborate with a mixed culture teaching faculty
Teaching applicants must have a four-year university degree. A valid teaching certificate from their home country is preferred.
International staff raise the majority of their finances. Most do this through a missions sending organization.
All applicants must have a personal faith in Jesus Christ, believing that a relationship with God is made possible through faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ and not by personal merit or effort.

VACANCIES FOR SUPPORT WORKERS AT PROSPECTS

Prospects is now recruiting for support workers to enable people with learning disabilities to live in their own homes and be part of their local communities within the County of Conwy. Full time, part time and relief hours are available.

Prospects is a Christian charity helping to transform the lives of people with learning disabilities by breaking down the barriers that limit individual choice. As an employer, we also recognise and value true potential - offering you the chance to make a real and lasting impact in what is a supportive, dynamic and empowering working environment. We seek people who are fully committed to our Christian beliefs and who will help us deliver a distinctly Christian service which will include praying for, and with, our community.

There are many ways in which you’ll be helping people with a learning disability lead a more active fulfilling life. Some involve simple, everyday tasks, such as a trip to the shops. Some are fun, like an outing to the cinema. Some can be far more demanding such as teaching living skills and providing spiritual support. But all are highly rewarding and come with a sense of job satisfaction that would be hard to find anywhere else.

Regular prayer for those we support is an important part of the role too. Which is why, as well as being a good listener and confident communicator, you will understand our values. You’ll also need plenty of initiative and patience, and an approach that’s organised, team focused and very flexible. If you don’t already have a QCF Diploma NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, you must be willing to study for this key qualification.

To request an application pack, please call 01492 878152
